Street is fairly soft, race is about right, a little stiff rear on both (remember its a strut rear now). Not really something I'd want to buy judging from the fairly low spring rates on the street setup (lower than stock - the street transfers a bit more to rear though), the dampers probably suck.

Suck it up and spend the money for a quality suspension. A little over $1000 can get you an excellent suspension (Stance or BC) which are known quality with a racing heritage.
For $400 I would go with springs before I buy this garbage. But go ahead, maybe you can prove me wrong.

You should ask Gsedan35 (jim). He's always open to helping people with suspension questions. What site are you getting these from?

+1 I have made this mistake before on previous car and it is something that you will pay for immediately AND in the long run. Not sure as to what your budget is but you may want to look into a cheaper non coilover setup

Ive had previous cars with BC coilovers and megan track setups as well..I do not go cheap on things I buy..but everytime i went with a great coilover..i really never use them to the full potential as they were made for..I really just want to be able to adjust my suspension on the fly if need be..
Also thanks for the help and feedback

they arent great coilovers. you dont want other newbies seeing your statement going to meets spouting that their bc coilovers are great because you influenced them do you? they are what they are, some of the better coilovers for the money. but are they great coilovers, not really but they are soild, good coilovers for the money especially if you dont heavily track the car.

If my goals were purely a performance gain with huge drop potential, I'd buy stance GR+ with OEM rear. $1000 shipped brand new, good flexibility, etc.
For my needs however, I would like a setup with a more performance oriented damper, and a less aggressive spring rate (to keep ride quality better....even on the track ride quality matters), so I will go with a setup that new costs nearly the same, but goes in a completely different direction.
Why not just buy a set of Tokico D-specs and lowering springs, or better, bilstein dampers and lowering springs.
