Quantum coilovers, any info?
#3
I already did my research on the more popular brands. I like to look at all my choices wether it be an "off" or "on" brand.
Quantum isn't exactly an "off" brand to me anyways.

When I say "off" brand, in terms of suspension. I mean more in terms of companies that aren't going to do as much R&D to get their products as good as the established companies, their going to lack the funding to pay for the quality R&D time, wheather in the lab or on the road testing.
Since you've researched the known brands.
1. what has your research told you?
2. What hasn't been satisfied, that cause's you to continue to look?
3. What makes the perfect coilover system for the Z in your mind?
4. Are you ride quality driven or performance driven and willing to accept the possibility of a firmer ride?
This board has allot of usefull review's, that can be melted with common sense notion of researching that (those) brand(s). But it all depends on what a guy wants out of his suspension, in determining what would be, hopefully, a wise choice. As your finding out however, what about the brands that have no reviews, no owner experience's and little to no information anywhere? That's the tuffest question of all, takes allot of trust and a willingness to risk the possiblity of shelling out allot of money on somehthing that might not measure up.

I'm definitely willing to sacrifice ride quality for performance.
I'm probably going with the TEIN w/EDFC for quick adjustability.
I just wanted to know if anyone had read anything about the Quantums since they are fairly popular in Japan with the FD3S.
Thanks anyways,
Victor
