Car sits uneven?
Alright so i've got an 08 Base Z with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. It's got just over 18,000 miles on it, and has never been wrecked or anything. I just got new tires put on the rear again, and noticed that the driver side rear sits a good inch higher than the passenger side rear. The front looks even on both sides, but the rear is a huge difference. Is this normal? IDK why I haven't noticed it before, there's a good bit more camber on the passenger side as well it seems like, but I guess that's bc the driver side isn't even? Any ideas?

damn I never noticed it until today when I switched tires. I went from a 255/45/18 to a 285/35/18 and the passenger side sits even with no fender gap and the driver side has at least an inch if not a little more. WTF?! Anything I can do to fix that?

i recently installed tein H tech 350z springs on my g35. the driver side is sitting perfect. but the passenger side front is up probably 1/4 to 1/2 inch more. its driving me crazy!!!!
edit: i thought it would "settle" but its been 3 weeks now!!! i have a full camber kit waiting to go on and get aligned. but i have to get the car sitting right before alignment

i just ditched a set of coilovers due to the ride being 2 stiff. but the car looked perfect. now it rides how i want, but sits uneven!!
i am so pissed i just want to cut a quarter coil off

Actually with my coilovers, my passenger side rear sits HIGHER than the driver side rear. Im assuming because of the weight. Its not off by too much probably 1/4"-1/5" higher than the driver side rear.

You've just discovered a major disadvantage to fitting springs and dampers. Weight is different corner to corner, and as such, heights can be different too. This can be true even from the factory. Lower the car with aftermarket springs and this can continue. It doesn't happen to every car, and it won't happen to every owner of a given set of springs. This is another advantage a proper coilover setup has - the ability to adjust the height per corner, to ensure they are all the same

for a full out track car, sure ^ for a car that is primarily street driven, it's a bit of overkill (even though I had it done on my own car lol, which I dont think ever will see a track day again in the forseeable future)

Yes I have this problem too and I hate it! Stock suspension...I have cut the springmounts .5" BUT it was like this well before I ever thought about doing that. Here are some pictures for reference. In my rears...the passenger side sits higher. In the fronts...the drivers side sits higher.
Passenger side
Driver side
I'm lookin to get a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs here in the next few weeks but I'd also like to get this problem figured out! I just had my car aligned by NISSAN by the way

honestly if mine was the rear it wouldnt bother me nearly as much. but its the front. so on my passenger side i have more of a gap in the front than the back.. i have all week off work so i will mess with it and see if i can come up with a fix.
my experience with coilovers is they ride like **** on the streets. ( i live outside detroit and roads here are always bad due to the freeze and thaw cycles all winter long)
i also talked with an engineer that builds race cars, and his thoughts were for a street car you will gain more handing from a set of sway bars than you will with a set of fully adjustable coilovers.

short of cutting the spring, there is nothing you can do to fix it
Crappy coilovers ride like crap, I will agree with you there. There are plenty of coilovers that ride extremely nicely
