Eibach or Tein lowering kit. Need Opinion
Ok got my wheels and tires on. Now it is time to lower my Z . I know two people selling two different types of lowering kits for 350z. I just want everyones opinion on what would look/feel the best. Keep in mind I have 275/40 and 255/40 on Rotas. Thanks
Do you care about the handling of the car significantly?
I just finished installing Koni sports, cut rear spring seats and Tein tapered fronts with new lower mounts. .5" drop and improved handling. If you are concerned more with looks, Tein S-tech springs on the stock shocks, or Tokico's, or Koni's, would be my pick.
The S-techs have decent spring rates.

could you give more details on your front setup and exactly what springs and springrate you used.....and how you did the mounts?
sounds interesting.
thanks
< Just ordered the s-techs....
Was thinking about NF210's or Eibachs but im not too fond of Eibach and the NF's go 1.2 which is alittle too low for me. If your looking for a minimum lift without having to buy a rear camber kit or shocks, go s-tech or Eibach pro. Nf's and MAYBE GF's and your pushing on possibly needing the above.
but no telling until the car sits after springs but your safe wit s-techs.
IMO, Z's already low as bawls, S-tech gets you better handling and look without pushing too hard on stock setup/camber.

Hotchkis are soft, hence me not even looking there.
I have Tien tapered springs wiht just a flat plate lower mount (cut the inside diameter to match the Koni's, the outside to match the spring.
I bought them used from GSedan35, he could give more info but there isn't much to it.
Its a 450ish lb/in front, stock is 430 lb/in rear. Drives well, Tein S-tech is close to this, sortof.
