Default How easy can I go back to Stock Suspension?

Hi, can someone please help me on this?. I installed 19" wheels and don't like the gap between my fender and tires in the rear. I spent a considerable amount of time reading about all the issues involed in lowering the Z and realised that you can regret it if it is not done right. My question is, can I easily re-install my stock suspension components if I end up with something I don't like?. I have an 05 touring with 20000 miles, never tracked and don't intend to. All I need is a drop without losing riding comfort.
I thought this might be a question asked before but could not find it so please don't flame.
Thanks

Can you replace OEM suspension with aftermarket suspension, then replace the aftermarket suspension with the OEM suspension? Sure why not.

since you posted this question i seriously doubt that you can do this alone. now if you paid a shop to do it yes it can be done.

The reason I asked is I thought the process would involve dismantling certain components and would have to buy new ones if I want to go back to stock.
Thanks for your input.

You can just buy lowering springs.

To go back to stock, remove the lowering springs and install your stock springs.

No other parts are needed.

i dont know if thats the best choise, because he wants to maintain stock ride quality. lowering springs alone can worsen the ride quality and also lowering springs alone may decrease the life of the stock shocks

better off getting some coilovers.

Thanks guys for your help. I am going to save up and make sure I have it done right so there would be no need going back to stock. The problem is there are so many choices and views out there and would have a hard time knowing which brand and type to buy. A member sugested in a different thread that there is no need to go with coilovers if you don't intend to track.
If that is true, then I would have to go with shocks and springs. I am willing to spend up to $2000. I welcome all suggestions. As stated earlier, I would not track. My Z is mainly for driving around town on nice days. The roads here are not the best, hence the need for a system that would equal or improve my stock performance.
