Default Will a 1" drop require camber adjustment to be in spec?

I am considering dropping my Z about 1" in all 4 corners. If I do that:

1. Will a 1" drop require a camber adjustment to stay in spec?
2. Can the front be within spec at 1" drop?
3. What can I expect to pay for a 4 wheel alignment?

Thanks for those who know and are willing to share....Jeff

1. camber adj. for the rear are recommended... but factory camber adj. is not enough to bring back to spec.. you will need aftermarket.
2. front should be ok.
3. $59.99 for 4wheel alignment.

I had two $70 alignments done at Goodyear(two different stores at that) after I installed the S-tune suspension. I still had issues so I finally broke down and paid the $100 to get it done at the dealership. It's been fine since.

They also have the Consult II to set the VDC steering wheel sensor, though you don't have VDC so...

Another concern of mine is my HRE wheel lips maybe difficult to be able to grip the alignment equipment. Has any that has HRE's or same type lip had a problem in that area or a solution to that possible challenge?

Suggest you do the mod then check the alignment. These cars seem to vary quite a bit. Don't know if it's the type of suspension upgrade used or just the inequality of production tolerances. I have had alignments done on 3 different machines and the results were all different. Some drops as much as 1.5" have had no problem with stock alignment. Then others with less drop have had to use aftermarket adjustment rods.

Mine has a 3/4" drop all around and I had to get both camber & traction rods for the rear along with multiple alignments. The front camber on the left is off by 1+ degree.

Can you get the car aligned with stock wheels after a drop and then put on the aftermarket wheels? It shouldn't matter right? It'll still be aligned.

I don't want them to scuff my wheels with their alignment equipment.

i dropped my car 1.8 inches all around (spring springs)....waited over a month or so to get it alligned (figured that was long enough to let it settle).

all the specs were still in the green (meaning they are still within the right specs)...but, the caster was off on one wheel.

and...my car has been fine sine.

also, i didn't pay a penny for my allignment...i had it done at sears and watched them do the whole thing. since the car was still within the right specs and they didn't have to change anything...well, they gave it to me for free.

Hmm, I wonder why some needed alignment with Eibach at 1.2" drop in rear yet you got away without being out of spec? Does tire/wheels size have anything to do with this?

New wheels shouldn't effect the alignment unless you've radically changed the wheel/tire package. I'm having mine checked again anyway.

no idea....i just have the stock 17's on right now.

i wonder what an allignment would look like now. i can't see anything drastic just by looking at it...but, i could take it in again and let people know what happened. i've had these springs on for 5 months or so.
