Default does the spare wheel fit with big brakes?

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=spare

Along the same lines, I'm due to get the stoptech 355mm big brake kit and was wondering if the spare wheel would fit. Has anybody with 355mm stoptech rotors tried to see if the spare fits?

thanks

just a guess, but I would day it will fit. Stoptech designs their brake systems to fit with OEM wheels. So, with that in mind, I would venture to guess that the spare will fit.

I would just throw the spare tire out and put a can of quickfix sealant in there.

or get AAA membership

Just get run flat tires and get rid of the spare tire!

i'm not really concerned about having a spare tire or not, towing services are more than sufficient for me.

just wanted to see if I would be carrying around dead weight with no purpose and to aid in choosing a sub location

I'll have the shop check when I get the stoptechs installed

runflats preform very poorly. You got a sports car for a reason. Not to compensate it with bad tires

yeah hard sidewalls and that extra weight do not help with handling, or ride quality.

fix a flat will not work with your TPM, it will get all over em.

lastly the AAA, this is great, but what if your outside of cell service?

my advice... if you have aftermarket rims, put a stock rim as your spare, if not buy another stock rim to use as a spare.

the spare well will fit a full size tire.

I have honestly yet to look, but assuming it comes without a donut sized spare, I would say the BBK won't fit with the spare on....
