Default Question about painting calipers

I'm going to be replacing my pads and rotors and i'm thinking since i'm going to be in there anyways I might as well paint my calipers. If I do decide to do that, do i need to bleed the brake system since i'll be removing the calipers? Also, any advice on what kind of caliper paint to buy? I don't have time to do a search so please don't bust my *****. Thanks in advance!

No need to disconnect the brake fluid line. You can unbolt the caliper, and hang it with something suitable like wire.

I really wouldn't want to attract any more attention to the stock calipers than needed.

You could get the G-2 paint system from Tire Rack. This is a brush on paint so there is no need to even remove the calipers when you paint them. Regardless of what most people say, painted stock calipers don't look all that bad. Here is a pic of mine.
