Are those Rota Torque wheels in hyperblack? If yes, that is what I should have next Thurs! What size are your wheels and tires?

Bomber

BTW I hope my car ends up looking like that.

Hey sry bomber...my suspension is gf210's stock shocks...*yuck* and 25mm wheel spacers on stock 06 wheels. Tires are Nexen n3000's if that matters..245 40 and 255 45. Strange rear tire size..yes..but they are almost worn now anyways.

^Love those pics. Those wheels and drop are perfect. Simple and clean. What are the specs on the wheels and tires?

BC Coilovers
Eibach rear camber kit
Ichiba front a arms

My next set of tires will probably be 245/35/19F and 275/35/19R so I can go a little lower. I can still drop it about another 1/4" in the rear and no limit on the front. Also thinking about making the switch to Cusco a arms if I go lower.

Car looks sooooooo nice man!! How far away from Reading are you?

I do regret buying SPC front A-Arms. I thought they were they way to go and have had nothing but problems since. Every major bump the A-Arm smacks against the inside of the wheel well. I understand that something eventually has to bottom out but I'm only lowered an inch in the front... I shouldn't be running into this problem. I can't wait to take them off and buy something else. Damn things make me sick.

EDIT: But besides that, I do not regret it. In fact I'm sooo glad I listened to everyone and skipped buying springs and went straight for coilovers.

my only regret was not buying coilovers instead of springs. Springs didnt give me the right height, ride quality, and adjustability I wanted, so I moved on to coilovers and coudln't be happier.

only regret is scraping in the driveway Other than that, it seems my handling has improved and it looks killer! Tokico D-specs with eibach sportlines. I think coilovers would be a bit much for my daily driving. My set up suits me well

havin to make people get out of the car in a parking lot with speed bumps is quite embarassing. My side skirts are 3" from the ground and I dont drive anywhere I havent driven in my DD. makes taking trips pretty nerve racking

Some of the lowered cars here obviously dont get driven hard or they honestly dont care about tearing off mufflers, cross bars etc.

i say all that yet, still leave it at the same height. Now if i didnt have a DD, no way in hell woulda i done anymore than springs. Just set your height appropriately. Wheel gap sucks

I hear ya but think of all the things you will NOW scape on with a ~1 inch drop!

OP: I keep thinking the same thing but I've come to a conclusion. I going to buy coilovers, camber/toe, front arms, bushings, etc. and do it right. If in the end the car is scraping everywhere, then at least I can raise it back up some and find the ever elusive performance : scrapage height I CAN actually live with. Oh ya, and have a hell of a ride too!!!

IMHO
Hope that helps
