Question Just bought some 06 Calipers/Rotors.

Im upgrading my stock 04.5 front brakes/calipers to 06 G35 OEM calipers and rotors. They are much bigger then my old stockers, just wondering if im going to run into any issues while doing this. Will the brakes work just like my originals?

THanks guys!

My rears are not going to be touched.

I got some too a while ago. It will bolt right up, you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks so much!

Im actually thinking about getting some drilled/slottle rotors since the size of them is larger and it wont look cheesy.

no prob, yea might as well since your messing with it, maybe throw in some stainless steel brake lines too while your at it, so you don't have to bleed the brakes again.

didnt want to start a new thread, so....

I have a 2004 Z. I was able to find someone selling their brakes from a 2006 g35 coupe.

however i told them that i would not need their rotors nor their brakelines (im getting my own rotors, pads, and SS lines)

The price that he was willing to let go of all 4 calipers with bolts washers etc, is $300. Is this price fair? This seemed like an okay price seeing as how the entire oem 06 brake system goes for around 450-500 but I wanted to check with the pros first. Thanks in advance!

Sounds fair , but you don't need the rear calipers, just the brackets.

^^can you explain?

so youre saying only the front calipers are different from my 04 calipers? and the only difference btwn the 06 rear caliper and the 04 is that the bracket that relocates it?

here are the brakes btw. are the brackets pictured in here? not sure what the bracket looks like
