godspeed coilovers
I've been thinking about going into these godspeed coilovers. I don't know of anyone using these sort of coilover, does anyone know if its good or not. If someone is using this can you pm about how you like it and such, if you don't mind. I do know they do have a 1 year warranty if anything goes wrong they will give you a new one or repair it. Any opinions suggestions or comments if i should go for it. Thanks everyone.

for the money there ok and probably would last a few months,if I ran a 240sx I would probably get them, but not really for a Z,the welds dont look very strong,do a search on zilvia.net and you can see some reviews up there, goodluck my friend
thanks a lot for the advice man. I will definitely look on zilvia, im sort of looking for a coilover thats a good bang for your buck that is under a grand, and can give you more than a 2 in. drop. Thanks again for the advice datsun
yeahh i was thinking about ksports too or megan racing. Ill see im not in a rush to buy, i just read a long review on the godspeeds and a lot of people are saying they aren't good, so i might have to save up a little bit longer.

If you're only goal is a massive drop, without any care as to whether the car actually handles better or not, then simply find the lowest springs you can and put 'em in. If however you want 2 inches + on a legit set of coilovers that have a stroke designed around that low of a rideheight, then you're going to have to up the budget considerably. Also be prepared for the ancillary parts you'll need to make such a drop useable (front a arms, rear camber/toe kit and being prepared to keep an eye on your front control arm bushings, and endlinks, which are known failure points, particularly on cars with significant ride height drops).
A proper suspension is more than the sum of its parts.
Would you rather a 1 year warranty, or a product where you don't have to utilize the warranty in the first place?

thanks a lot for the advice z1 Im already dropped on tanabe nf's and i have an ichiba front and rear camber kit, im not really looking for more than a 2 in. drop im actually planning to do about a 1.6 in front and 1.7 in the rear. I just want to have that benefit of dumping the car 2+ inches just to do it on occasion. I do want handling and performance. I know a lot of people flame when people say they have under a 1000 dollar budget for suspension, but i feel like i don't really need a hks system or kw. I just want a nice dd with a little weekend fun into it. Not trying to start an argument or anything just explaining what my plans are. Thanks again for the advice z1 and for everyone else thats helping me. I don't know what to choose right now, but im pretty sure i won't go with godspeed. If i do ill let you all now how it is haha.
hello everyone again, ive been doing a lot of research, and ive found a set of coilovers called, corner 8 coilovers, ive searched it here on the forum, but i never seem to find anything on it. I do know someone had some used one's up for sale about a month ago, but as far as i know he didn't write a review or anything them, any advice from any one would be greatly appreciated thanks.
thanks z1 ive read some things on the c8, but i think im sold on megan, a lot of people say they are junk, but ive read 4-5 reviews on here that say they are awesome, with a lot of people agreeing with them. I think ive found the set that i want, now i just need to save up. Any advice z1 I think you know a lot about suspension info. because i see you answer a lot of people's questions on suspension dated back all the way from 2005, thanks for the help everyone and especially z1, ill let you know how i like them. Anymore advice or comments on anything are welcome good or bad.
How much are the godspeeds going for? If more than $750, may I suggest H&R? I am in the process of getting these coilovers installed this week. From the reviews I've read, they seem to be favored on the Z as a good entry level setup.
On top of that, H&R is well known brand and very popular with European cars. I had a set on my Audi, which lasted 5+ years without a problem. That was kind of the reason I was shoping for these on the Z.

hello everyone, I think i have made my choice on my coilovers, I am going to purchase some stance gr+ from haeshik i think I am making a good choice. I believe some slightly used stance are better than some megan racing coilovers, or this godspeed stuff haha. Thanks for everyone's help. If anyone has anymore opinion's please let me know thank you everyone!!!!
