H&R Street Perf. Coilover
I searched, and I searched but couldn't find many opinions/reviews. I know from my days with a BMW that H&R is very respected in eurotuning, but apparently this set isn't popular with Z owners. I know that they don't post specs but does anyone have any impressions on these? The car will be daily driven/fast road use with minimal track use, if at all. MAYBE the occasional auto-x. I'm not looking for a huge drop either, in fact, I like suspension travel, unilke many ppl here

I recently posted up a review of the H&R coilovers:

I just updated it today as my initial review was wrong (bad install). If you are not looking for a significant drop (1.0 inch or more), then I would advise you not to get these. Matter of fact, I would advise you not to get coilovers at all and instead get springs like the eibach prokit, which I believe does .8" drop or so. Coilovers are usually for larger drops.
The H&R coilovers are recommended for 1" to 2.25" drop range. Since they are 1-way adjustable, you have to put load on the springs to raise the car height. I had the car height at about .8" when I wrote my first review. The suspension was stiff because I put too much load on the springs. Later I dropped the car to about 1.2" and the ride quality was much better.
Problem for me was my body kit sits pretty low and at 1.2" drop, I was scrapping all the speed bumps in my neighborhood. So I raised the car back up on springs and have these coilovers up for sale. Only used them for a month.
