before going on, i'd probably do a couple of things first to verify that StopTech kit will work.. not all stoptech calipers are the same for all the Zs...

depending on what year that Stoptech kit was made, the piston sizing is different to accomodate the brake bias from factory due to changes in weight of the car, power, etc.

you should probably figure out the piston sizing of the stoptech kit (measure it) and give stoptech a call and figure out if its ok for your 08.

another thing to make sure is the knuckle sizing for the bracket on the OEM brembos, you might need new bolts to attach it to the knuckle, the OEM bolts from the non-brembo equiped cars might not work.. you might want to search that because i think it was different when i sold off my OEM brembos to a non-brembo car back in the day-

Nope. You never have to change M/C's with our kits.

And why would you go with OEM Brembo when the ST kit has more heat capacity, larger rotors, stiffer calipers, lighter rotors.

Yeah, I was gonna say... Brembo's aren't anything to write home about. I'd pick StopTech (or any other aftermarket setup for that matter) before Brembo every day of the week.

for the oem brembo's... you need the bolts that attach the rear caliper to the knuckle. the front mount straight on. of course you have to use the rotors that goes with the brembo calipers.

basically, you need new bolts in the rear for the calipers that match the brembo's.
