Default How do you adjust ride height/damping force

Hey everyone, i know on some coilovers, you must change the damping front the top and other are with adjustable tools. My question is changing the damping and height, the same thing? And if different how do you change both on a Megan Racing Coilovers and on a Basic Tein Coilovers?

dampening and height adjustment are different

megan - no idea

tein basic - only height is adjustable, not dampening

dampening means the hardness or softness of the ride. Height is... obvious.

for mine (Stance coilovers) To adjust dampening you turn little ***** on the tops of the whole assemble (under the hood for front coilovers). Left is softer. Right is stiffer. To adjust height you must jack the car. Take off wheel. Unlock the locking nut on the coilover. Then the whole threaded peice of the coilover spins. Spin into the base (down) to lower. Spin up and out of the base of the coilover to raise

ya you put the car back together, drive around the block, measure the gap, and adjust from there.

yea just turn them all the same number of turns so all 4 have been adjusted equally. Put the car on the ground and measure distance from top of tire to fender. Make sure they are the same distances in rear. and same distances up front (front and rear can be dif. depending on height adjustment
