Default Camber Issues HELP!

I started this thread to A. confirm that I have a camber problem and B. go back to my alignment shop with some concrete info and sound some what intelligent.

Problem: I have extreme tire wear on the inside of my rear tires, my front tires however which do not have an aftermarket camber kit on are worn very evenly!!!

Setup: 2008 Base 350z with Tokico Blue shocks, Eibach Pro-Kit, SPC rear camber kit w/ toe bolt, Volk GT-S wheels 19", 9.5" +17 front and 10.5" +18 in rear running 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 Toyo T1-R

Pics: Sorry...I will get the pics of the tires, I thought I had these on my camera card but will upload them when I get home

Alignment Shop: Jack Williams Tire in Palmyra, PA. After My friend and I had put the suspension on I took it to Jack williams immediatly to get it aligned and then went back 3 weeks later for the final alignment which I paid about $68.00 for each time.

Solution: This is where I will need everyones help... I have very limited knowledge on suspension setups... I know the basics but thats about it.... What would be the best way to handle this situation.... Thanks in advance!

first off.... go to firestone and get their lifetime alignment deal for about $150 or so i think it is. valid nationwide, unlimited alignments for whatever reason as long as you own the car.

second, if everything is installed correctly, i've seen it where if they don't tighten and torque down either of the cam bolts properly, they will loosen very easily with time, causing your wear. I have the exact same suspension setup as you, with no irregular wear issues.

maybe try a different shop too.

there was no need to get an alignment right away as you have to let the car settle anyways. So you wasted $68. Post your alignment specs are well because inner tire wear can be caused by other spec issue than just camber

since you paid two alignment fees of a total of $136, you could of just gotten the lifetime deal with Firestone

ur Z looks nice bro, I have the same set up on my 08 base Z also, for about a week.

its 159.99 plus tax for the life time alighnment at Firestone, its 200.00 at NTB for 5 year Firestone tech told me he got my rears camber and toe in spec, but my fronts are almost -1 camber off.

I'm looking for front Camber kit now, I'm rolling on stock

The car is lowered, and you may not be able to set-up a more conservative camber. The situation may be something you just have to endure.

Thanks for everyones input so far... i will scan my spec sheet when I get home. It is hard for me to believe that my fronts are not wearing uneven at all ( to my eye ) and the backs have such an aggressive wear on the inside....

Also thanks for the heads up about the Firestone alignment package.... I did not know they had a life time deal, which will be very helpful!

not anymore. it all depends on which one you go too but they all are retarded. idiots used channel locks on my rear spl arms and stripped the outter coating off the arm

also have them double check toe settings. you could be dragging either side if the settings are off

You are correct , he mounted front tires in the back of his car. Thats why he also has the nice extra gap in the rear.

Alright below you will find the pics... I also did make a mistake as terrasmak and GuardDrgn86 have pointed out... they are 35 series tires in the front and back ( sorry for the mistake... like I said I am not well versed in suspension and tires etc. )

front and back tread side by side ( as stated above... the rears which are on the right have an aftermarket camber kit on, which was suppose to be in spec )

Thanks for the photos.

A bit unusual for camber wear. Looks like the wear is 2 inches from the edge of the tire then stops dead. Is this a combination of negative camber and tow scrub? Got me.

BTW did you swap and drive these tires?

Numbers are questionable. Front toe is all but non-existent. Is the car stable straight line at 100 MPH?
