Default Stillen' front core brace?

Has anybody installed the Stillen front core brace? I did a search and found nothing. Here is a link with a pic. http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...SU&r=&b=&m=all Any thoughts or coments?

More show than go. What is funny is that Stillen's website says it is not compatible with the stock airbox, but their picture shows it installed on a car that appears to have stock airboxes (but I am no HR expert).


Also, AAM makes a similar product.

I can't see how this would help in any way besides making the car more nose-heavy and giving you a stiffer radiator

I was thinking the same thing, but I remembered a similiar brace came out on the 06 Nismo edition Z. Do we have any suspension experts that could chime in on the matter?

since the whole rad support is plastic, my guess is that it prevents that piece from flexing by bracing it against the strut towers. I've never done a back to back comparison on it to know if it actually makes a difference or not

as for fitment, I think they mean to say on the 03-06 cars it will not fit with a factory airbox
