Default New rotors + pads

Long story short, I need new rotors for the front, and pads all around. My mechanic friend (used to work at nissan for 5ish years) told me to go to nissan and see how much it would all be, and he would put everything on for $200(i don't trust myself, also almost no experience).

Any idea how much the rotors are going to be?(non brembo)
Would I be better off just buying some used brembo's or a kit from the 370's?

The parts from Nissan will be very expensive. You will spend less by buying aftermarket. If money is an issue, then go to Autozone/Oreilly/Pepboys and buy their house brands.

What do you want to spend for a brake rotor? $50 or $200?

That actually seems like quite a deal.

So if I ordered, lets say the Premium x-drilled and slotted rotors (i downshift to stop usually) and some Posi-Quiet pads, that would be a good combo?

He's kind of a friend of a friend, not my own personal one. Plus nissan wants to bend me over, no lube or drink to install them so...
