Hey just wondering how many of you guys on coils use your spring mount or not?

All depends on the kit. My kit doesn't use it and i couldn't install it if i tried. Others need it and you couldn't properly install your system without it.

If the kits uses the mount, use it. If it doesn't, don't.

If your wanting additional rear drop and your setup uses the rear upper spring seat, go ahead and cut the seat down.

Not running the mount won't end the world on kits that are supposed to use it, but you'll get noise from sharp impacts like tar strips. And I wouldn't guarantee no spring movement in the upper seat pan under the right condition's. I've run without the upper mount when testing, but I alway's had rubber shims I made to keep the spring in place.

+1 and also remember if you do the spring mount cut mod you will most likely need camber arms to get back in spec.
