Default 2-piece rear rotors??

Hey guys,

I see there are 2-piece rear rotors available from stoptech.

How is this possible? Won't the parkingbrakeshoes wear away the alumunium center?

Well..the parking brake is only used when you are parked so theoretically it shouldn't really wear anything

nah i found a picture somewhere and it seems there is a metal ring on the inside of the rotor where the shoes hit.

The hats are all aluminum and are not meant for regular use while the car is moving, AKA initiating drifts, 180 degree turns and other types of shenanigans.

The benefit of our 2 piece rotors is to reduce weight and increase heat capacity for track by way of more the more efficient internal vane design.
