Why on earth would you buy them if you know nothing about them?

To answer your questions...

How good? They are excellent, top notch IMO.

Normal driving? Work fine. Heavy duty compared to OEM.

Good condition? Make sure the stud move the ball joint smoothly. Too tight or too loose = bad.

BTW - these are adjustable. Start with both the same length or you'll never get them mounted. Do you need to adjust them? Probably not, especially just for street use.

At each end of the link, there is a heim joint. That's a ball with a hole through it captured in a solid casing. A stud (bolt) runs through the hole and connects to the swaybar on one and the suspension on the other end.

If the heim joint ball doesn't move freely or it is too loose, then it's no good. A new one will be movable but somewhat tight. Remember that it has to support hundreds of pounds of force.

If you sways are making noise, make sure you remove them and check the rubber mounting blocks. They could be worn or broken. Sometimes, the bolts aren't tight enough, that can also happen with the endlink connections.

Yes, they are probably good. You just don't want them to be loose to the point that you feel them rattle around in the casing. Smooth articulation in fine, you don't want them sloppy.
