Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if the HKS Hipermax III were a true coilover setup for the 350z
I have used the search button, but came up with 2 different answers
In this thread, it says that they are True Coilovers...
https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...coilovers.html
However, in this recent for sale thread, they are said to be OEM Style Replacement
https://my350z.com/forum/suspension/...permax-3s.html
The pictures in the for sale thread are obviously OEM replacement, but every time I do a search, people say that they are True Coilovers and also in other pictures from google, they look like true coilovers...
Even on many websites, it is listed as a true coilover setup...So is it the for sale ad that is incorrect, or are there different versions of the HKS Hipermax III besides the sport version
Please help anyone!
Thanks!

You should listen to Adam/Z1 Performance, he said in that first thread they are OEM style in the rear.
Here's a couple shots of the rear drivers side with them on the car, you can see the strut and the spring are separate
