Default how to cut bump stops?

I have searched to no evail, however I will admit that I'm not thee most patient of searchers so I might have missed something.

my question is how to do you cut the bump stops when installing lowering springs.

frankly I'm not 100 percent on what the bump stops even look like but I'm assuming the round rubber pieces with vertical groves that compress when you tighten the strut assembly?

anybody have any pictures of this piece and perhaps tips on cutting them.

is cutting them even necessary for GF210's?

thanks, nathan

apearantly I'm not a very good searcher at all because I just read a thread that states the bump stop is integrated into the dust boot, and that it cannot be cut on 03-04 cars. so I suppose that answers my question.

any links to after market bump stops?

use a hack saw, don't use anything that will get it too hot when cutting, you'll end up with plastic/tar mess.

and search for the rest, it's out there a million times over.
