Default Rotors and Pads

Hey all,
I was looking to buy some new rotors and pads. Just wondering if something like this would be ok. This is my first time replacing either on my 04 Z, which i have had for about a year. They look fine and the seller has 100% feedback. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...Q5fAccessories
If not, id appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thank you.

Check out CZP, they have a fair selection. There is also courtesyparts.com, if you are more dead set on going the OEM route. I think the prices on either of those sites might be a little more fair. (And you are dealing with more reputable companies as well)

Just get some cheap blanks and if you must have drilled holes, use a typical hand held drill and make some holes yourself. Mad SIMPO.

Honestly, use the search function.

OP: $900 is WAY too much, you can get OEM rotors and some decent performance pads for about $250 total, and put them on urself in less than an hour (that is, if your stock rotors aren't frozen on LOL. When I installed my Akebono BBK, most of the time spent was getting the stock rotors off. Rubber mallet and banging on rotors at 01:30am FTW! My neighbors hate me thou )

Thekinn: You mean '03 rite? ;-) ... (If it was a sarcastic remark than nevermind, sarcasm never really conveys well over the internet)

If you want OEM rotors, go courtesyparts.com. I think u can get OEM rotors for less than $200. If u want slotted, cross-drilled, or slotted/cross-drilled, CZP (conceptzperformance) has them for anything ranging from $150 to $300. Pads, I would also go CZP, they have them ranging from $40 - little over $100. Sorry I can't post a link, I'm on a government computer and can't access the sites. But there is always google, man's new best friend. Just google courtesyparts.com or czp, it should show up... also, I tkink they might have links on this forum as well in the marketplace section under vendor listings.

These look very similar to a set I purchased off ebay over 3 years ago.

I upgraded the pads to hawk pads and SS brake lines and dot 4 brake fluid. Best bang for the $$$ spent, no problems and i had the front tires off today and no warpage, and plenty of rotor and pads left. If u go this route make sure the rotors are zinc coated and & step up to better brake pads & extras if possible. I have had this car to the track 4 times on this setup and no noticeable performance issues. Don't worry about what the name brand ****** are telling you. I got my setup from R1 rotors on eBay, I think they are still selling today.

Good ruck on whatever you decide to do.

I did purchase cross drilled and slotted rotors from R1Concepts a year ago. They had good customer support back then. I went back to order Hawk pads and they wouldn't answer the phone, so I grabbed them cheaper from a vendor on this site.

Hawk pads are well worth it. I had some shitty pads that R1 sent me with my set of rotors for the past year. They'd die on long stops (100+), but hawk pads (while dusty) don't fade like that and they work predictably when they heat up.
