creak fix?
Jus curious, has anyone with coilovers using the OEM style in the rear ever use grease to possibly cure creaking? I know creaking is normal with coilovers but, I just wanted to see if anyone has tried this and if so has it worked and where did you apply the grease?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Creaking? My Cuscos are silent. Maybe these will help in your case?

You really shouldn't have any creeking........im wondering if you dont have the rear springs snugged up...........if its loose on its adjustment seat then noises can come from loading unloading..........
Were the coilovers just recently installed??? is that why you ask?
Try lithium spray lube first......spray it around and go from there..

Diagnosing creeks is quite hard....
check under the car for smudge marks, where grease has been pushed over, etc...things of that nature looking for contact points...etc..

Thanks intimazy, i'll look into these after trying the lithium spray.
Jason: I wouldn't say it was too recent, I had them installed in Feb. I'll check around for smudge marks and see if I find anything. The weird thing is though I sprayed water on the perch and the creaking would cease until I guess the water would dry. I'm guessing the grease idea may work is the reason i asked. Thanks for the help btw.

Also, check your sway bars if you have them. Those need lubrication pretty frequently and tend to get noisey when dry. Lithium grease works fine for those bushings as well (I have been told NOT to use lithium grease on bushings, however I never had premature wear or noise using lithium)
No sway bars bro, everything is stock except for the coils and camber arms for the rear. toe bolts and the front camber kit for the front. I will though look at the bushings and see if anything there is wearing out.
