Default Do I need front camber arms?

I just had my car aligned and they informed me that they could not get the front camber into spec. I was hoping that some of you experts could take a look at my alignment measurements and let me know what you all think.

Not at all, -1.7 is just fine up front.

Looks like some of the numbers are in the green (good) while some are in the red (bad). I have no more information than you do.

Thanks, they sure are pretty colors though.

I'm very happy to hear this, means I can spend the money on something that I really need like tires. I don't believe the previous owner had the car aligned since the inside portion of all of the tires are shot. Now I have to decide if I want to just replace the 20" tires or bite the bullet and buy some 19's. I'm watching the classifieds so hopefully somebody makes my decision easy on me.

LOL.

First are these go no-go numbers valid for the 350Z? If yes than you have problems.

If no than do the numbers suit your handling needs? The only red results that I see is rear camber (I believe it is rear camber). -1.7 degrees is good for me. Not certain if it suits your needs.

No one likes to toss tires in the trash.

My recommendation repeated here over and over again is simple: estimate tread life. Swap tires at half of tread life. A 4 tire swap is about $160. Less than the cost of one tire.

I think it may be a little too late for these tires, they are in pretty bad shape. I will keep it in mind for my next set though.

All the more reason to go with a square set-up........Free-be rotation.

Those are the correct specs, with the first photo being the rears and 2nd front. You should be good on the front even though out of spec. In my experience with the OEM suspension, the front outside wear is the weak point, especially if you autocross or track. On the back, it's the inside wear that goes first. The 350z doesn't hold geometry very well, so budget for frequent alignments and keep an eye on tire wear. You may want to consider a place (e.g. Firestone) that offers lifetime alignments.

camber and toe look good imo. They just want to get everything as close to Zero as possible.

so long as your toe is good you're ok. My camber is maxed out at the front at like -1.XX and i just have some tire wear on the inside which isn't bad at all and I've been like this since Late Feb. You should be ok.

I run -2.5 in the front and -2.1 in the rear.....no adverse tire wear. Actually sense I autocross/track the car it extends the life of the tires quite noticeable. I use 1/16" total toe out (.04 each) and 1/16" toe in in the rear.

1.7 is perfectly acceptable.....The toe is a bit more than desirable, but acceptable none the less.
