Default Upgrade pads and Rotors

so I want to replace my rotors and pads for my 08 Z. looking at a few things but came accross this.

http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35/product_info.php?products_id=2240{15}241{99}416{101}419{146} 634

also found this...https://my350z.com/forum/brakes/4884...-in-stock.html

One is cross drilled and slotted, the other is stoptech slotted rotors. same Hawk pads. around the same price.

wondering if anyone has tried or heard anything on this product. looks like a good deal for not spending a few thousand on a new brake kit. Thanks for any help.

Not really much of an upgrade, just pretty.

If you must have pretty rotors, get just slotted.
The only upgrade in the kits are the lines and possibly the pad 9depending on the one you order)

sell me your blanks and your pads when you get new ones..Im sure theres LOTS of life in them.

if you ever plan on tracking your car - get blanks or slotted - no drilled..

actually blanks are, slotted are the way to go if you feel the need for a "performance pretty " rotor

Oh i see. im not to savy when it comes to brakes and suspension. figured slotted rotors made it easier to stop and less pulsating.

Slotted are to allow gasses to escape...

Best upgrade you can without braking bank is Fluid>Pads>Lines>non 2 piece rotors.

Over the years I have tried several rotors and pads. OEM brake performance is good. I doubt that any Aftermarket rotor-pad combination will decrease stopping distance 10 percent.

But they do look cool.

You can only break as fast as your tires, but some upgrades can prevent fade and your petal from falling to the floor and having a stupid stopping distance.
