Default Espelir Springs???

Just wondering if anyone has recently installed Espelir springs (red).

I just installed a set and I'm quite happy so far.

I did a search and most of the people that have them are from years back.

Just looking for some recent reviews or anyone who still has Espelir's currently installed.

Thanks for the help.

I run them for autocross and track days with konis. I like them. The minimal 10mm drop still allows for alot of rubber (with lower offsets) and the spring rates are good (though wish for alittle more). Good track setup

I can only recall maybe one review posted on them since 2003. I have seen them mentioned the most in the marketplace being resold by owners that were chasing peak spring rates, but discovered they didn't deliver on the track. I could have told you that given they are a progressive spring. No offence I would not touch them for that purpose, Cobb springs offer simular rates in a linear spring without the compromises you get with a progressive spring. I prefer less rear spring rate however vs either front rate, rotation is nice, but less wheel spin comming out of the hole will net lower times. Which is why I made custom spring seats for front Koni shocks and ran oem 427lbs rear springs on cut down upper seats. Member Peak350z bought the setup from me for autocross.

Cobb Tuning 350Z Linear springs .75"/.9" drop G35 drops will be higher
Spring rates 436/535 (as shown here http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-s...new-parts.html )

Espelir G35 coupe progressive springs .4"/.4" drop
Spring rates 409/515 (rear rate IMO is too high for all oem shocks, Z or G)

Espelir 350Z progressive springs .4"/.4" drop (G35 drops higher)
Spring rates 386/515 (rear rate IMO is too high for all oem shocks, Z or G)

BTW, Tokico D-specs according to Tokico have a 450lbs spring rate cap. I've tested the Koni's with up to 560/500, they performed better with 448lbs fronts. Beyond 450lbs front and rear, I would consider a revalve.

Gsedan35, what is your thought on the Swift springs? They are ,also, linear like Cobb but lighter.

As for the spring rates posted, I wonder what the initial rate is...
