Default Rear Lower Tie Brace With HKS True Dual

Hey,

Just have a quick question, I'm in the market for a rear lower tie brace (GTspec or megan racing etc.) Not too sure about which one I'm going to go with yet. I'm definitely open to opinions. But I was wondering if any of you guys have used a rear lower tie brace with a HKS True Dual Ti exhaust. I don't want to buy it just to realize it will rub the exhaust.

I've searched and can't find an exact answer to this question. If any of you guys have a setup with a brace and HKS True Dual any information would be much appreciated. Pics would be great as well.

Thanks in advance,
Dan

I had both the GT Spec braces in the rear with my fake HKS exhaust back in the day and it fit fine.

Thanks man, I was reading how you bought the megan racing bar a few weeks ago. Maybe you can talk to LitoFlow he has a megan racing bar on his Z I think.

I'm still on edge about buying a tie bar not too sure yet.

It looks nice with a tucked rear bumper, but it really has no affect on performance (from what I can tell)

I hope this helps. I have the rear GT Specs line up with HKS True Dual. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

LaoSiFu thanks man that really does help a ton. Looks really nice too.

Waizz, I thought so to, I just saw yours on your most recent thread and that made me think about purchasing one. The rear tie bar does look a lot less covered up with the GReddy exhaust compared to the HKS.

+1 on Roberts setup looking nice.

I agree with you regarding the Greddy, it's just two fart bazookas unlike this exhaust with the extra resonators on the outside but you can still somewhat see the tie bar on the HKS.

I also have a megan Rear tie bar that does not fit.It measures 17 3/8" from hole to hole. Does anyone know what a GT spec measures?
