Default my rear ST brake pads.

My rear stoptech street perf. brake pads makes the rotor and brake pads rubbing sound when i apply brakes. Is this normal, ST pads users?
After a few month, i might consider ST pads for front but if they rubbing sound is normal under braking, then i might want to consider different brand.

After warming up the pads, i did have to stop at couple of traffic lights. It was just warm up, tapping the brakes. But at the red light, i tried not to hold down the brake pedal. Just put it in neutral and let it sit there or if the car rolls back, gave throttle little, let it roll back and repeat. I think it shouldn't cause the pads to make that sound.
Since i didn't machine the rotors, there's some squealing sound when just rolling. WHen the brake is applied the sound gets louder.

I have the Stop Tech street performance pads front and rear and do not hear a rubbing sound when I apply the brakes. How did you bed the pads in and did you turn or replace your rotors when you when to the new pads?

No not always. One of the reasons i didn't do it is because my rear rotors CAN"T go through one set of pads. By the time the brake pad goes down about half, the rotors will prolly need to be changed.
