Stupid question about Bilstein PSS10's
On my set of the PSS10's the one of the adjuster marks are on the inside. What I mean by this is that there is a red dot on the shock to show you what number u are at. On the left side of the car the dot is on the outside which makes reading easy but on the right side the dot is on the inside so it makes it harder to read. ie: the dot is behind the shock.
Is this normal for all PSS10's? It is like I have 2 left rear shocks.

The bottom mount has a welded nut therefore I cannot rotate the shock as then there is no room for the bolt to go through the other way. The only way I can rotate the bottom mount is if I pull apart the bottom of the shock inclucing the adjuster which I was not keen on doing. Normally you can just rotate around the piston shaft but it did not feel like it would rotate.
Below is a refrence picture. You will notice in this picture the rear mounts and adjusters are positioned correctly
It has been on the car for a while and just never got around to removing it again to investigate

My coilovers don't have the welded on washer like yours do... but I wouldn't make a big deal about it... you can try angle a mirror around there to check your setting if you need to.
P.S. I just took out and reinstalled my passenger rear damper and it looked like I had enough room to put the bolt through either way?

You should be able to rotate the rear shock in a way such that you can see the dot on both sides. I had mine installed at a shop and the mechanic told me that he did exactly that so that I can read the setting from each side. He said that the fitment was very tight but he was able to get the bolt in. So, it is doable, you just aren't trying hard enough
