No offense to people with BC coilovers but BC coils are an entry unit that isn't very good, based on the shock dynos that have been discussed on this forum. As many have said, you have to pay to play. Coils worth buys start around $1300: Eibach, KW, Bilstein come to mind. As for springs, as already pointed out, I'd focus more on shocks that would go with the springs. People that ***** about poor ride quality with spring X likely has issues because of a poorly matched shock. Looks into Konis, Tokicos D-Spec or Bilsten.

once again! exactly!!!

thats about the best performance your gonna get from a spring shock combo...

best bet is to ride in someone's 350z that has one of these set ups.........or pull the trigger and try it out...

you rarely see people selling Koni's with springs mounted as a whole.........because most of those guys just stick with them and never pull the trigger to go higher...........usually due to cost......but ya...

I have read nothing but good stuff about the PSS10. However my understanding is that it is not for someone looking for a flush or slam look since it does not go low as compared to most others. It will kind of s***K to pull the trigger and still be so limited. That probably could be an argument to choose something like KW V2 which is very comparable but can go lower. Gsedan35 quotes the rear of PSS10 as 1.5 but everywhere else puts the range at 1-1.2. The .3 difference can mean a lot and I wish someone could clarify this.

Function form coils are said to be one of the top for slam. On my custom set up im lowered 2.5F 3R and glide like butter! I even let 2 friends with Z's drive it and both dropped their jaw at how smooth it rides. 8kg F 7kg R oem style

even if you choose the springs, sooner or later you'll be craving for some coilovers. forget the springs and search for an affordable decent used set of coils.

Ill say this.........I have considered buying a G35 sedan or Coupe as a daily driver..........and lately ive kinda gotten the bug to buy a 350z Roadster........still considering them and all....

IF i were, as a daily, as much as i prefer and like coilovers, theres no point on a daily driver honestly for me..

I have my track car 350z with coilovers, etc...

I would get some good shocks and springs and the appropriate arms, bushings and done..

+1

I started off with springs, and even though they were comfortable at first, I knew the stock dampers would eventually need replacement.

Unless you're pairing your springs with decent dampers, just throwing springs on your car is a temporary fix. Save yourself money and time in the long run and go with coilovers.
