Who has the S-Tune Nismo suspension? How do you like it? I think I am going to upgrage the suspension and brakes first.

How much harsher is the ride? Mines a dialy drive on 19"s so I cant sacrifice much in terms of ride....ok, I guess I'll act preemptivly..."to harsh a ride will hurt my vagina"

I have the JDM S Tune kit on my Z. It's great. I don't think it's noticably harsher on the street, and better everywhere in general. Do a search...you'll find lots of impressions on the kit. One thing you might consider is adding some adjustable sway bars to allow some tuning.

I love mine!
The ride is definitely stiffer. The car also has a lot less body lean in cornering. I would say that under normal driving conditions, I can't tell a difference in ride quality, but if I drive on a pot-hole riden road that is in bad condition, (have lots of them in ATL) then I am constanly reminded that I have an upgraded suspenson.
As far as performance driving goes, the suspension corrects the understear in the car and makes it more neutral.

So pot holes are harsher (expected) but what about broken patches of road. Does the car skate/skitter over those alot more. What always holds me back is I have a small section of road comming home each day thats aboslute HELL on a suspension. It has camber changes, dips, cracks, seams, bumps all in one concentrated section. Ill be dreaming of a suspension upgrade during the day, but 2 minutes into my drive I always have to rethink my ambitions. Its not that I take that road everyday (though thats true), its the fact that the road reminds me that I drive on alot of shitty roads (though fun), and a stiffer suspension might make it less fun to drive on them, and make me not want to push it as hard.

yanotkaj,
I have it on mine and its great.. its a perfect setup for aggressive street driving.. I might change it out for the Tein's flex with the controller depending on how much track time I get.. but if you don't plan on doing significant track time and are ok with the nismo drop then this is a great package

although the nismo is great, if I had your situation I would have most definitely gone with the tein's flex with controller, people say you can dial in almost stock feeling at the touch of the button. hopefully somebody with that setup can post their thoughts on this.

Love my S-Tune. We do our "spirited driving" in the local mountains above my house and I can take the hair-pins about 10mph faster now. I don't feel the ride is much different from stock, might even be smoother on some of these L.A. Freeways around here.

I too have the JDM S-Tune. Performance wise, I agree with what everyone has said. However, as for the bounce correction, I am not too sure of this. There's a stretch of highway that causes this bounce in all cars that I have ridden in, but for the stock Z it's much more pronounced. With the S-Tune, the bounce is still there, but somewhat less exaggerated.

Well, I would like to know myself . Colin (Matix) said that it was suppose to be sent out last week. I am still waiting. He has not returned my PM yet. Maybe he is on vacation.

s-tune suspension
i have the it and i love it. the ride is a little harsher on the pot holes.but it is kick as on the turns!!!!i'm runing 19x8f and 20x10r axis seven mods. with falken tires.i took the car for an alignment today to see if the drop would cause any problems with tire wear.and it was well within specs. the only thing that needed to be adjusted was the "toe in". it was 1.5 degrees it took the tech at the shop about 5 minutes to adjust.i'am one very happy camper.
