replace/upgrade pads, rotors, fluid - 06 GT brembos
ok, before i get flamed, the search does not work for me. no matter what i search for, it always says no results found....
I have a stock 06 GT with stock brembos and what I'd guess are the factory pads and rotors (at 47k)
. The fluid looks brand new, but in skimming the forum i keep seeing fluid upgrade but my head is spinning with all the terms...
What I need to do: replace the pads and rotors and upgrade them ( this car sees spirited DD'ing with some friday night LEGAL street races)
Can someone please tell me the top two or three options for replacing rotors, pads and break fluid?... also, how difficult is it to bleed brakes in the driveway and KNOW they are safe without just buckling up and saying a quick prayer...

If you not tracking the car, then all you need for pads/rotors is some name brand pads from Autozone, Oreilly or any parts store. They will be cheaper than OEM and work just as well on the street.
Look in the DIY section or in the Maintenance section for the Scheduled Maint. thread stuck at the top of that forum. there are several threads on how to bleed brakes.

david seems like you're trolling all my posts today and while I appreciate that my life is so important that you waste yours trying to f with me, but you're just waisting your time.
Thanks for the reply Dave.

He does troll around, but his posts are typically spot-on. I certainly agree with him on this one that it's highly unlikely you need new rotors. On our Brembo-equipped car, we didn't need new rotors even after 95k miles.
