So by those estimates, that's the equivalent to running a 900-1000lb/in spring in the rear for the "street" setup. I find that hardly streetable. I wonder if there are more factors involved...

All D2 racing sports coilover comes with 1 year warranty. Any problem, parts will be replace within a week. If you are not comfortable with your ride either too stiff or too soft. We'll exhange with whatever setting spring you need. Just sent us your spring and will sent you the one you want. 
Snow get away!!!
Once the street here in NYC clears we'll install the D2 coil-over kit and give our feedback!!! (The weather has been terriable for the past month, snow alot and freezing temp)

So there are the numbers. It looks like the D2 is really quite stiff in the rear. I know the numbers are surprising, but this is how the math works out. I say the D2 setups will allow the car to rotate very well, maybe too well for some drivers.

I don't believe the rear coil-over will hit the tire/wheel, however, until we install it on the Z I'm not 100% certain. We'll take close-up pictures after it's install (hopefully this weekend, if the weather is good here in NYC). Thanks!
Those can't be the Z33 D2's in the pics. I've seen pics of the D2 Z33 appilication and they use the oem location for the rear springs. And even if I'm wrong, were dipping into real murky tuning waters. I know the motion rate for the rear springs, does anyone know what the rate is at the rear shocks? http://pics.montypics.com/Gcoupe35/2...875427_z33.jpg I passed on buying them in a group buy over on NICO forums for $600 plus shipping. What stopped, besides the off brand thing was because of the spring rates and the email I got from D2. According to D2, they come with 15Kg/13Kg spring rates as the prefered rate, 13Kg/10Kg is a optional rate.

Thanks for your e-mial. Regarding your quesiton that both F-15kg/mm R-13kg/mm and F-13kg/mm R-10kg/mm are correct. For the 350Z Z33 if spring rate go for F-11kg/mm R-11kg/mm will be too soft. We will suggest you to start with the in current use spring rate, you could get this informaiton from our US distributor. And 9kg/mm can not be used on this car model.

Ok, get this, when they say the spring rate I wanted to use instead would be too soft, guess what they mean. If you try and run a spring that is softer (NOT STIFFER, but SOFTER) then their spec, it will cause the dampner to leak. One of the guys with a S14 got a little note inside his coilover box that said if he ran the extra pair of softer springs he ordered that they would cause the dampners to leak.
D2 Racing Coilovers (Monotube)
840/728 (15Kg/13Kg) F+168% R+113% (wee bit stiff eh, the recommended rate to)
Transfers 55% roll stiffness to front
Top secret and now buddy club* are the only known Z33 coilover systems running the rear springs on the dampner body. And even then the Top secret's also still run a spring in the oem location as well.
*All the spring details are not fully known at this time for the buddy clubs, but given the the spring rates they use, 748/280, all but guarantee's rear springs on the dampner body.
Frankly, ANY spring rate over 12Kg should not be considered for off track duty. The buddy clubs can be ordered revalved with softer rates.
