60,000 miles is about right for replacing the dampers also.

I personally like these 350z Tein S Tech lowering springs -

I feel they give just the right amount of drop where the wheel is nice and tucked, and also don't rub on the fender.

At 60K you will want to change the dampers. You have to take them out anyway when you do your springs; why do the same job twice?

the front is not optional with the Sportlines, you will need new front camber arms if you want to get it within factory spec. I had SPC front and rear camber arms and rear toe bolts with my Sportlines, they had a Christmas GB that was around $500 for all. I would highly recommend you go ahead and update your dampers as well.

Nobody can really say. It might, or it might not. But after 60k miles, they usually start going downhill.

Changes are that your ride is already diminished a lot from what is supposed to be, go to lowering spring will only wear out the worn out struts at a faster rate.

Not to hijack your thread OP, but I'm in a similar situation. Have about a 1.25" drop all around. My car is a 2003 with about 85000 miles on it. I do occasional autox, probably looking into the DSpecs or Konis for a new shock / strut setup as ride is harsh currently. Will daily this vehicle also. Are both of these a good call for comfort and for the track?

I'm sure an improvement over the current unrevised suspension, correct?

Thanks,

Default Lowering w/ Eibach ProKit, staying w/ stock wheels

Same question as OP.

I have a 2007 Base, with 50K-miles.
I am planning on buying Eibach ProKit, just 1" is more than enough for my taste. It is my daily use car too. I will be adding Nismo V2 Bumper in 2 weeks and I will stay with stock 18" wheels/rims.

Do I have to take additional steps when adding Eibachs, other than fixing alignment and maybe do some balancing on tires? What can I do to make the car look even when adding Nismo V2 Bumper, staying with stock tires?
Why new dampers and struts, if need it? Do I need some sway bars?

Thanks!!!
