Daiyama Coilovers
Hello guys.. amyone used the Daiyama (Nissan Z33 Fairlady/350Z 2002-2008) Part number 019, SKG-E series with original top mounting, 32way fully adjustable coilovers?
They are D2-price territory (700-900euros) and... well... just recommended by a friend. I've never seen them "live".
So, Daiyama anyone?

DAIYAMA is actually a great coilover company.
I may be slightly biased, since our company sells them =)
We actually just started importing them into the US this past year. Before we choose a brand to import we did some homework and really liked DAIYAMA.
They are not the same as other budget brands, and are not built in the same factories and just rebranded. DAIYAMA is a factory brand for a well established suspension company.
All their products are stressed tested, and individually R&D'd for each application. It's good quality product.
The drop is about 3" before touching the spring seat, with an additional 3/4" - 1" (25mm) if you choose to lower the spring - until you'll start damaging the shock.
The 350 sets I have are true front and rear coil over shock, though they also manufacture them separate. I think the part number you listed is for the separate rears.
The adjustable shocks are nice, they click for each adjustment so you know exactly where you are.
They are used by Japspeed UK on many of their drift cars, and have held up to repeated abuses.
If they are in your price range I really don't think you could go wrong with them. The price you listed is about right. I really don't think you'll find something better for the price.
PS: I have a set of the track version in stock so I can send you some actual pics, in case you haven't seen them in person.
If you go with them, let me know your impressions =)

Why great news! I am using the car as a "sunday-drive" for both fast road-racing & smooth rides with the wife.
So the shock must be "racy" but smooth as well, since our roads are horrible (waaaay too many holes!) here in Greece.
In the same (sub-1000$) price I think my options are Daiyama, D2, ..? I've heard D2's are a bit too hard...
If I could afford it (trying to finish my house, so I can't this year) I'd bet my money on an Ohlins DFV, nothing else is "track"&smooth the same time...
Anyway photos are more than welcome and you've mentioned 2 models? One OEM-style & one real-coilover style? Could you give me the #for both? (2004model-350Z)
Thank you very much!
Ps. If I decide to go Daiyama, I'll certainly will post intallation photos & impressions!!

FYI... Daiyama shocks are made by Ikoma (check the business address and do a "who is" on the web site). They make branded shocks for a lot of different coil over companies.

For clarification sake...
IKOMA and DAIYAMA are both made by the same factory. IKOMA is their OEM replacements, and DAIYAMA is their performance suspension.
About the rebranding, their factory does make suspension for other companies, but DAIYAMA is their house brand made to their factory specs.
Sorry that this looked like spam, it's not. I don't mean to step on any toes, just trying to answer questions about the company.

here are a couple pics I took a few weeks ago.
