Adjustibility, spring rate on coilovers
Hey guys,
Purchased a set of coilovers for my 350 and they are a bit different from all the other coilovers I've had. These are the OEM style Megan Street coilovers so the spring is in the bucket.
Question: what is the spring in the bucket for? Does that do anything for adjusting ride height?
Had a shop put on my coilovers for me and noticed that when they lowered it for me it became a LOT more bouncy than the previous week. (had them on for a week to let them "settle/break in"
Thanks for the info guys.

The spring is the bucket also has a spring adjuster mounted above it, that does ride height. Also bouncy and Megan go hand and hand. How low are you ? How much suspension travel do you still have? What are the dampers set at?
Before you installed the coilovers, where were your springs?. In the bucket. That is where the OEM spring is. OEM style coilovers mean they maintain the OEM isntallation approach hence your spring being in the bucket.
