I recently took ownership of 03 Z, and found out that the front Stoptechs that came with the car are actually for 06-08 models. I am aware that Stoptech makes different kits for 03-05 and 06-08 to match the brake bias. Since 06-08 has stronger rear piston, I am assuming my brake bias right now would be shifted more towards the front.
Now, since I am planning to track/drift with my car, would the brake bias be a problem? I'm wondering if the difference in the brake bias would be significant enough to the point I'll have to get matching brakes for the rear. If so, I think I'll just get a pair of 06-08 OEM rears and be done with it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks but I already know which ones I have. I've got their 14" front brake kit for 06-08 350Z. I just want to know by having them on my 03, how much brake bias gets shifted to the front. I know that 06-08 brake kits use larger pistons for correct brake bias due to larger piston size of the 06-08 rear brakes.

Based on piston sizes alone, you have increased brake torque by 17% over what we recommend for your car. This is much too far out of range to be adjusted by way of brake pad outputs front to rear. Ideally you should look into getting the correct front calipers, or go with the larger OEM rear parts from an 06+ Z. Going with the larger OEM rears will get the balance back in check, but you may find you are not happy with the pedal feel and ABS/VDC may not work to their full potential.
