Default For those who have rebuilt Brembos..

Just got my seals and boot in from Nissan and I am installing them. The seals went in with no issues, pistons go in like a charm. However when I put the dust boots on part of them sticks up higher on one side. I have been trying to force them down as best I can but it just doesn't want to stay.

I have a couple of concerns because if I put them on the car like this it will damage my pistons.

Basically what I am doing is putting the boot on the piston first and then putting it in. If anyone has any ideas that would help, much thanks.

Also included pictures to show the issue.

There is a groove on the piston that allows the boot to sit properly. If the boots sit snugly onto the boot I wouldn't worry too much about it. My boots definitely don't look like that on my Brembo. But try pressing the pistons back into calipers fully and observe...
