so i need a new compression arm cause mine is bent.

new one is 190 shipped and a used one on ebay is 115 shipped.

which one should i go for?

used one has 40k miles on it and is from a 2006. garunteed to be striaght too.

asking cause not sure about used oem suspension parts.

guaranteed straight is all well and good, but the bushings are equally important, and at 40k, its anyones guess

no brainer answer IMHO. With one you're good for at least another 40k miles - with the other, who knows

I have a passenger side compression arm with a busted bushing I would sell for well under 115 shipped.

 

Be weary if you are purchasing the cone bushings as well (ball-joint side). There are 3 different ones IIRC. I recently purchased new arms and I believe i got the wrong version(year) bushings. The bushings do not sit properly on the ball-joint stud which causes problems securing the arm to the hub.

I believe that website is referring to the bushing on the non ball-joint side. The new arms do not come with the cone bushings (in my case at least) that sit on the ball-joint stud. You may be able to reuse the ones on your stock arms by removing them with a puller. I was unfortunate and had to order new ones. If you are unclear about the cone bushings, take a look at a parts diagram/image.

i was wondering if a 1 degree bent arm would be visible to the eye? even when comparing to a brand new arm?
