^- Those 06 G brakes are the same as the 06-08 Z Non-Brembo's.

I'm really glad you are happy with the calipers/pads!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I'm about to pick up a set of 06 calipers and was wondering how this swap would go n now I know! I jus gotta make sure that they have the brackets to go along w/ the calipers. If not can I jus go to the stealership n order them? Thanks Op for this post.

and update on the paint, 3 of 4 calipers is still perfect, on has a few small digs in the paint which I have not decided how to fix yet, I was disappointed to see the chips but something clearly hit it pretty good because none of the others have chipped.

I picked up a set of the 06 calipers a while back. Time for me to do a break job now so I figure i'll go ahead and upgrade. The car only gets about 4,000 miles a year of back and forth to work so I'm comfortable using ebay rotors. I could not locate the seller you mentioned. Do you have a link by chance? Also, if I find out I do not have the bracket i need (i know i don't have it for the rear) where am I able to buy one of these from?

I sold the op his calipers and still have the EBC slotted rotors I used with them. I'll let them go for 300 shipped. They are in this thread:

the part numbers in the picture come up as the full assembly. is there a source on just the bracket needed for the rear brakes, or will i need to find a used set to take it off of?

not sure about nissan(I work for honda) but you cannot get the bracket separately, either used or in a junk yard maybe?

Is it even worth it to change out the rear? The difference in rotor size isn't that much..

well if you can get all four calipers front an rear for a good price, i say just change all 4. i had the 04 brake set up with one piston on front. i found a guy selling his 06 350z brakes, lines, caliper, rotors and pads with only 12k miles and asked for $150 swap went very smooth, took me about 4 after bleeding and all. performs similar to the brembo brakes.

Did you have to get new lines for the brakes? or were you able to reuse yours?
