Default BC Racing Coilovers max height for later winter set up

Ok, so I've been considering gettin BC Racing coilovers for some time but one of the thing that is throwing me off is the spring lengths and max ride height. I daily drive my car (G coupe) and will have to raise it back to stock height for the winter, but I'm hearing the 210 springs causes the rear to sag when both front and rear are at max height. Is this true? I also know BC provide a 230 spring which is a bit longer to prevent this, but I hear the drop with that spring isn't that great. I do not want to have to remove any collars to get the car lower.

I'm not looking for a rediculous drop, jus something good enough to where i can close the gap and sllliiiiightly tuck tire jus a tad bit. As well as maintaining ride quality and gaining a bit of performance. My only other option I am considering is Stance LX+ which I know have a larger drop range. Which would u guys suggest I go with given this situation? Does anyone know anything about Stance LX+ being able to be lifted back to exact factory ride height

hmm well i wouldnt recommend going above stock ride height. if your not going to go over stock ride height then i say get any coil over you want. if you wanted to be smart you could swap out the the coil over suspension(true coil over type, (not sure on the oem coilover type or if you could keep the settings when removed) every winter, so you dont have to worry about always having to adjust it to what you had it before winter.

Very true. Smart. Although I don't mind trying to figure out where it wuz set at before. Maybe I can mark them or something. It's beats having to pay for an uninstall and reinstall each time. I'm just hearing the 210 spring on BCs don't raise to stock height, and the 230 springs don't provide a good enough drop. I wuz wondering if this is true and had anyone experienced this, or should I jus scrap the idea and go with stance LX+ (which is Wut I'm sorta leaning towards).

Oh and yes And I'm am deff not goin higher than factory, that be rediculous lol

Neither one of them are going to allow you to go back to stock height - both will be lower than stock by about 1/2 inch at their highest setting unless you replace the springs with something longer.

you really should just merge (or ask a moderator) all your recent coilover threads, would keep it a lot neater

With my BC's i could get the rear heigh very close to stock, i had the normal length spring, but the old system with a 2.5id coil , not the newer tapered coil.

Did U have 210 or 230 spring? Or did the older ones come in a diff length?

All i know is the spring was an 8k and 8 inches long. The standard spring, not the hella-lame super drop spring.

Went plenty low, then again mine were a different kind of spring, non tapered with an aluminum mounting base to convert the spring bucket to 2.5 inch. Get the taller springs, you will be able to sit (with the proper tire height) slightly tucked
