Default strut bar clearance and weight

i need a little help on deciding which strut bar to get.
I have stock strut bar with seibon VS II hood, and plenum spacer, and the bar touches the hood.
Would Cusco strut bar clear the hood? I'm not positive that it'll fit because of how high the blue brackets are designed. what's the weight comparison over stock?
Crawford strut bar was my another choice, but from looking at a pic of it installed, it won't clear the vent on the hood.

I can tell you the Cusco clears the plenum with a 5/16 spacer and NO strut bar spacers. If it helps I can go measure from the top of the plenum to the top of the bar.

I'm not so worried bout the bar clearing the plenum. if it doesn't fit, I can use the spacers that came w md plenum spacer.
do u know if cusco's blue supporters sit higher than stock black supporter?
wat bout the weight diff?
thx

I don't know the base height differences, is that where your hood is hitting? I'm fairly positive it's lighter than stock but it's been a while since I've put it on. Again, if you need pictures or measurements, I've got the time.

+1 to this, mine is same.

However, my Cusco bar DOES touch my Seibon TS hood, or rather the other way around, and it DOES leave pea sized black resin marks on the bar in 2 places ( where the bar bends downward on each side).

My advice is buy the Cusco, regardless. Its the thinnest bar out there and the best chance you have besides relocated bars like Stillen or Crawford.

The cusco supporters are high. IIRC, the stock strut was like little over 3". I might have to get crawford and work something out from there.
Any crawford owners with VS II?
