Stoptech BBK touch up paint?
Hello guys,
I just recently installed my kit, love how it looks but for some reason one of my rear calipers kept leaking brake fluid from the bleeder cap. I rechecked to make sure it was not loose but still kept leaking. Finally I just used teflon tape and rethreaded the bleeder cap which sealed it off. But over the night the fluid just tore up the paint.
Does anyone know of any touch up paint that is a near match of the RED calipers by Stoptech?
I see a lot of stoptech brand kits out there, I figured someone must of had a similiar issue.
Thanks for any info!

Use GM Torch Red touch up paint by Duplicolor, available at any auto parts store, its a near perfect match and holds up well.
In the future, after bleeding your brakes, be sure to spay some brake cleaner or compressed air into the bleed screw port to clean out any excess fluid. Also, do not over-loosen the bleed screws when bleeding or excess fluid can get trapped between the threads and seep out over time and especially when the parts heat up.
I would also recommend removing the teflon tape as it will not offer any help. Bleed screws seal at the taper at the base of the bleed screw, the thread are there to put pressure on the taper to create the seal. Overtightening the bleed screws will only damage the taper which can cause leaks in the future.

I use G2 Caliper 'paint'. It's not regular paint, but a two-part epoxy mix that is very resistant to chemicals, brake fluids, brake dusts, etc...
The red is a near perfect match.

(no, I don't work for them)
