well is paying 120 bucks for two lower control arms and less time worth it, than spending 50 bucks on a pair of bushings for the left and right side and 10 hours of time?

Not if you just installing arm with stock bushings again. The 4 bushings on the LCA can easily be swapped out with a press in less than 15 minutes if you know what your doing, 45 minutes if not.

So actually (we will round up) its only 1 extra hour to swap bushings on the LCA. Those arms are $120 each, so actually $240 for the pair. Bushing are less than $100 for the 4, but you really don't need to swap out the shock bushing if you want to save $$$.

I found these on ebay for 65 bucks. It comes as a kit but im unsure if its 2 bushings for 1 side or 4 bushings for both sides >

Or is it two of the same bushings but one for left and one for right. are the bushings the same but the metal insert that goes inside is longer/shorter for each control arm?

nevermind, i think i understand now. The inner bushing on the lower control arm, is the bushing thats located towards the "end" of the control arm and the outer bushing would be the one located slightly off the "center"?

in which case the link i posted from ebay is 2 inner bushings, one for left side and one for right side. am i correct?

Those are the LCA inner bushings, those and compression arm bushings are the ones that fail in the front end.

just so we are on the same page here, when those bushings start to go, does that somtimes/normally cause the bottom of the tire to kick outward a little?

as i stated in my first post, thats what i got going on.

So just got a chassis inspection done. The bushings are still 100% intact and they are not causing the tires to be kicked out a little on the bottom.

What he did say is that i def. need new shocks and an alignment afterwards. He also mentioned that the Z front end camber alignment or whatever, is normally angled in, which makes the tires look kicked out at the bottom. even IF they are, there is no way in hell they are supposed to be as bad as mine.

does anyone have a factory alignment or camber measurement readout or anything?
