you are right, there is no mount for the brake lines but my old buddy club coilovers didn't have them either. it doesn't seem like a big issue at all. after installing the fronts and before putting wheels on, i turn the steering wheel each way just to make sure there is perfect slack. also, you can use a zip tie to softly to keep the brake line from moving all over the place. it's no big deal.

nope, no issues at all. i would def put it on my Z if that helps any. fit and finish was good, seems beefy. I installed the true coilover one. installation was less than two hours.

The height is adjustable but I'm not sure what the range is. Whether your wheels and tires will fit depends on the offset of the wheels and widths of the tires. As a gauge, I am running 285/35/19 rears with +12 offset and had to roll my fenders. With 275's on the same offset it would be cutting it close.

Alright, I just did some poling around the web looking for other Fortune Auto reviews and I found some 240sx guys talking about them. One of the guys said that he is running the 8k/6k spring rates and the ride is very harsh for daily driving even with dampening set to full soft. That seems to totally contradict what the OP is saying. So now I don't know what to think!

I've been looking at these as well and have asked around too. My room mate is an Evo guy and they absolutly love em, not sure what sping rates they are running though.

As far as spring rates for 240's vs. Z's they are two very dif platforms and what else did that 240 guy have? If they are anything like the 240 guys around my area it was probably slammed as close to the ground as possible with the biggest sway bar known to man so that he could say that he built the car as a drift car but never actually drives it on the track

You make a good point there, like most 240 guys this one appeared to be tucking major tire and you don't get that kind of ride height without harsh consequences (unless you've done major supporting work, which this guy probably did not). I'm not sure what he had going on in the way of sway bars or other modifications.

I just got an email from Terry @ Fortune Auto and he said they offer 9k / 6k or 9k / 7k spring rate setups which are "very daily drivable" in his words. If I end up going with these coilovers I'll probably go for the 9k / 7k combo. something about having such a big difference front to rear with the 9k / 6k combo seems off to me.

Now I'm concerned with how that bright green is going to look on my car which is essentially all black and gray haha.

nice thanks that answers my question, your ride hight looked perfect. I plan to run 19s with a +12 offset and smaller tires than 285/275.

Is there a real problem with it rubbing the wheels/tires? Or is it only for wide setups?
I'm really looking at about +25 offset with 19x10 in the rear. Should that be a problem?

I dont think that it would be an issue, I'm running an 18x10.5 +25 and I'm pretty sure that I still have room for these... it is a good point though, I never thought to check that before ordering, glad that I havent done so yet lol

Does anyone know the width and offset of the factory 18"f/19"r Grand Touring RAYS?? Either there are several different rays or people mislabel the f out of what they're running

OP im not trying to thread jack but i have had these too for some time, i love them! i see alot of people asking about clearance in the rear not sure if this helps but i run volk 19X10.5 17 offset in the rear everyday with no issues, my track wheels are also 10.5 and no issues on the track with hittng. i have tracked the car and done a couple drift events and i have to say they are very predictable when set correctly, considering mine are valved and i am corner balanced. as for lowering when i first got them i slammed the car to see what they looked like in the front i ended bottoming out on the uca and still had a couple inches of threads left, the rear just kept going and i bottomed on the tire. look at the "hella flush" guys they all run huge stretched tires/rims in the rear and they all i believe run true style coilovers in the rear. as for the dampning adjustment i had to pop the plastic from the rear hatch and drill a small hole and buy a long 3mm hex t-handle and now its easy as pie. hope this helped some of you, sorry again op for thread jackin.

Brian

^How do I read that? LOL

I have BC on my 370Z choose them because the 370Z does not have reinforced rear like the 350Z for a true type coilover. I love that I stepped up my suspension game from springs to coilovers.

Also, was wondering why they didn't design a mounting bracket for the Brake Lines?
