Owners of the Nismo S-tune suspension, could you please post a picture of at least one of the front springs. Preferably on the car. I want to make sure the front uses linear as one onwer of the setup says they are. I've already seen a pic of the rears, they are definately progressive.
thank you,

So are the front S-Tune springs linear or progressive? I say progressive.

Well you have to have at least one of 2 things for them to be progressive. One being a change in the diameter of the wire in the spring and two a change in the diameter of any given loop of the spring. I don't see either. I see one coil that surely looks like it would bind at some point moving towards full compression of the suspension and keep in mind that what we are seeing are how the springs are at full suspension extension. How much that could possibly play into effecting a rate change is unknown to me, but given it's just one coil any effect would be slight. If I had the springs in hand I'd take a dial caliper and check the wire diameter from top to bottom, but the pics here give me a pretty good look at that and I don't see any portion that chages to a flattened wire construction either, I doubt the front springs change wire diameter. I'm not declairing them 100% linear, just saying what I see points to linear with a slight chance of a small progressive effect, if at all.

Yes, the unmounted rear springs in that box are progressive. I stand by my comments on the front springs, if they have any progressive nature at all, it is slight. The elements for any other conclusion are not their. No wire diameter or loop diameter change. One coil surely will bind moving towards full compression, one coil isn't going to amount to a dramatic rate changing effect. Compleatly different story as we can see on the rears.

Those are my B+G Springs, Rear on top, and Front on the bottom. From the mouth of the manufacturer, they are BOTH progressive.
