Default Air ride question

I just installed the UAS air ride system in my car and the rear only dropped like a half inch lower then my sportlines. Is it that my factory shocks are bottoming out or is it thats where they sit?

Don't be a dousche

To figure out if it is the shock, pull the bag out of the rear and compress your wheel with a jack, sees how far it goes.

Best results are the UAs bags on coilovers

Could def be your shocks. Take your wheel off, jack the suspension up by the spring bucket and see what bottoms out. Im very familiar with air ride if you have any other questions.

...you could also remove the shock, put the car on the ground and see if it goes lower.

Thanks guys I just got off the phone with UAS and they confirmed it was the rear shocks have bump stops that you have to cut. I'll post pics when I get home but I have to say I love this kit so far.

tell me about the ride please.. Id love to go to Cali, but after driving thru San Diego in the GS Lexus this weekend, theres absolutley NO way my car is making thur those streets. May have to yank the Stance coils and go air ride. Still cheaper than roberuta.

Yea I don't know how you can use a coilover for the front. I only fill the bags like 20% and it rides so smooth but stiff through turns.

just called UAS in San B... its an airbag that fits over the coilover like a condom ( i didnt get it.. i never use em either). haha.

you just need to make sure the front shock body is 2.14 inches or LESS for it to fit over.
2300 bucks, quoted me a grand to install it. not too bad. May jump on it before the end of summer.

I heard from a VW owner that the compressors were loud and annoying. Is the UAS system any different?

The rear is only done right now this weekend I'm doing the front and I changed all the fittings from push in to DOT compression fittings didn't want any lines blowing off
