Does anyone have experience with this. I bought a set of Tein Comforst Sport Coilovers from a mamber in the classifieds a while back and both fronts appear to be shot.

The car bottoms out easily and has a very sharp noise when going over pavement transitions. I can lessen the noise by softening the damping rate, but then the car feels very vague and floaty.

Does anyone know where I can get these repaired, is that possible, and if so is it cost effective?

I had mine repaired when it was leaking oil (running Tein Super Street)
Call up Tein and ask them where is the closest service center to your area. I beleive they have one in US, Japan, Malaysia, UK and somewhere else.

I was charged for about 200usd for one shock, done in Malaysia with a help of a good friend (who happens to travel a lot to that country)

 

They do rebuilds for blown shocks. I had sent mine out here in the US to california and they did a rebuild on it.

Is the shock leaking/seal blown on top?
