Default need opinions on what needs to be done - camber/toe ?

Went to get an oil change today and my front tires are balding on the inside (towards the engine) of the tires - both tires have equal wear on the inside.

The car is not dropped, but has a Tanabe front strut bar and 18inch wheels. When I first got the wheels on I got the car an alignment and it seemed fine but the tires are getting killed quicker than they should be.

So I am assuming I need some sort of front camber adjustment. There is no "bolt kit" I can buy is there? I did some research and did not find anything easy like that (like we can buy for the rear) - is my only option to buy control arms with camber adjustment?

#1 reason is the alignment is off

causes

The Z just does't hold alignment well.
LCA bushings are toast
Compression arm bushings are toast
Or , any and all of the above.

LCA from whiteline in poly.. i believe they make compression rod bushings now too, otherwise, call up riverside infiniti on find them on here and get a revised g35 compression rod bushing... its the same part, but if you try to order for a 350z, they will only sell you a full arm.. lame. Just get a G bushing pressed in.

makes a HUUUUUUUUGE difference in this tire wear, youre looking at 50 bucks for the g35 bushings, 80 for the whiteline LCAs, about 130 to install and 100 bucks to align.

makes an incredible difference in the handling and tightness of you car.. its one of the best upgrades i had ever done.
Worth 3 times the cost easily.
plus i get 3 years + out of the front tires now.

Id stay away from the harshness and expense and noise and NVH of the SPL metal items.. you dont need it.

buy the ebay item you listed.. whiteline lower control arm bushing kit. All day.. great stuff. I have them.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/G35-3...d=245865723082

Also, buy a set of these and you are all set.
I have them as well.

Told you its cheap.

How many miles do you have btw?

Call Scott @ Fontana Nissan or Z1auto , they both can get SPL , whiteline and OEM parts. Both are very familier with the Z33 chassis and both support our forum/community.

Agreed.
Ebay never helped me answer tech about my car.
Sponsors do.

I dont know your car or what you do with it. Is it lowered, hellaflushed , do you want hellaflush, do you want to track it , do you currently track it, daily driver , lots of miles etc etc. Give me the run down and i'll give you my suggestions.

I don't really track it, and I don't really do any racing (anymore) on the track. I was thinking about drifting and scca but don't have the time. Its in daily mode I guess.

I have 18s on it right now and they are pretty flush...has about 60k on the odo...

Alright, Whiteline LCA inner bushings (shock mount bushings would be nice but not needed) and compression arm bushings. The compression arm bushings are the hard one to suggest, the new energy suspension ones will probably work but....... the design may cause problems down the road (none of us know yet) SPL solids that are noisy and bulletproof or back to OEM than will blow in 5k to 60k miles (probably 5k since you are lowered)

Did I say it was lowered? Its not...stock ride height...

I am all too familiar with how suspension works, just have not researched it for the Z. I had an S13 which literally had every aftermarket suspension part available circa 2004, so I know how bushings can get killed easily.

I do not want to go back to stock if I can help it, I am assuming the whiteline bushings are better than oem replacements. As for the compression arm bushing, the only options are the solid metal SPL's or oem ?

the OEM Compression rod bushing ( revised btw) will be fine, fear not.

And when it dies in another three years, fix it again.. its still easier than a brake job.

Thread title looks like "camel/toe "when i scan it too quickly. Im glad you are not dealing w that issue, for as for that.. i can offer no assistance.

this is the compression rod bushing correct?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-I...Q5fAccessories

I'll need two of these, and front LCA bushings as well......anything else?

holy sh#t , about time ES.
Thats bomb dude, jump on it.. i have solid spl rear diff bushing set and thats surely something else youl need to.. lots of labor for that one tho.
If its visually bleeding when you look at it, you need a new one.

Yes, you have my full blessings as the proper parts... buy that kit and get it all installed.. you will NOT regret that one bit.
